ship of fools

Here is where I post my Rudra Rants, selected short stories and poetry. As I’ve branched into DV (Digital Video) of late, and Giclee large format printing, I’ll include some of my exported stills from the DV poetic montages that have been reworked into fine art collages…

You can see low-res versions of some shorts at:

Fenian47Ronin (You Tube)

“Ghosts” is a 32 minute feature that I did for Channel 28, BETV, kind of a modern day “Hamlet in Berkeley” with Orlando and Jacques thrown in as well…Most of it at:

Ghosts

“Empire Not Liberty” was featured at the T-10 Festival, 21 Grand, last year (2007). Five short “pieces of work” after Shakespeare…

“Have Buddha, Will Travel” is a ten minute short of one of mine own short stories–set to visuals through After Effects–done, again, for the 2008 T-10 Festival at 21 Grand (part of the Friday Night Art Murmer, a great multimedia gallery) Versions on my “You Tube” page…

As March 10th is of particular importance to my Tibetan Buddhist tradition, here are a couple of interesting links:

Although the results of our actions may not have matured yet, they will inevitably ripen, given the right conditions. Usually we forget what we do, and it is only long afterward that the results catch up with us. By then we are unable to connect them with their causes. “Imagine an eagle,” says Jikmé Lingpa.” It is flying, high in the sky. It casts no shadow. Nothing shows that it is there. Then suddenly it spies its prey, dives, and swoops to the ground. And as it drops, its menacing shadow appears.”
